Why this site?
We are a group of UK residents with a broad range of nationalities and with a broad range of backgrounds who where denied –or almost denied– the vote in the 2014 elections for the European Parliament.
We are concerned that a considerable group of UK residents were not able to vote in these elections where they, morally and legally, should be able to vote in.
We have made it our mission to investigate and uncover where it went wrong, recommend improvements to electoral procedures and take action where necessary to bring about the necessary changes and make sure these issues never occur again.
DeniedTheVote.org will never share your personal details such as email address or personal correspondence with others without your explicit consent. If a journalist approaches DeniedTheVote and wishes to speak to someone, DeniedTheVote will provide you with their contact details so you can decide if you want to speak to them.
In the comments section, your email address will not be published and feel free to not use your full or real name. Detailed stories are best but if you think you might be the only Czech in Bridgwater, feel free to leave out those personally identifiable details.
